Over the last ten years, the Symposium has become truly international with participants from Europe (e.g. Germany, France, Slovenia), Asia (e.g. Japan, Korea, China) and the Americas (e.g. USA, Brazil). The Symposium is widely attended by academicians and representatives of industry with participants drawn from:

Bioelectrics refers to the use of powerful pulsed electric or magnetic fields, shock waves, or non-thermal plasmas, to apply novel physical stresses to biological cells, tissues and organisms as well as bacteria and plants.

Bioelectrics is an interdisciplinary field relying on the collaboration of physics, chemistry, biology, medical science, agriculture, environmental, mechanical and electrical engineering, and is expected to open up new applications in science and technology.

The goal of the Symposium is to:

  1. provide a platform of worldwide visibility for open information exchange;
  2. foster the development of broad international research collaboration and participation of additional institutions in the field of Bioelectrics;
  3. provide the basis for successful grant proposals to national and international funding agencies;
  4. showcase the work within the consortium.

We invite your sponsorship of the 11th International Bioelectrics Symposium.
