Dear Colleagues,

The University of Missouri, the City of Columbia, and the International Bioelectrics Consortium (IBC) welcome you to the 11th International Bioelectrics Symposium. Bioelectrics 2014 will be held on October 13-16, 2014, hosted in Columbia, Missouri, USA, with generous support from a Mizzou Advantage grant.

The International Bioelectrics Consortium was created to develop broad international interdisciplinary research collaboration among the participating institutions in the emerging field of Bioelectrics and to provide the basis for successful grant proposals to national and international funding agencies.

Originating from the founding members,

Old Dominion University, USA
Kumamoto University, Japan, and
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany,

the consortium now consists of 15 academic institutions from Asia, Europe and North America.

The Symposium was established by the IBC to strengthen the field of Bioelectrics by providing a platform of worldwide visibility and impact for open information exchange, cutting-edge discussions, to showcase the work within the consortium and with collaborating institutions in the field of Bioelectrics and to foster the development of broad international research collaboration among the participating institutions.

Join us for this exciting event. I am looking forward to a spirited exchange of Bioelectric ideas
